EMEA participation at IWFSAS 2021

The International Workshop on Financial System Architecture and Stability “IWFSAS 2021 – The Post-COVID Recovery and the Race to Net Zero: Implications for Financial Markets and Institutions” took place online on 30 – 31 August 2021.

The President of EMEA, Prof. Rym Ayadi and EMEA Research Fellow Dr. Sandra Challita co-chaired the first IWFSAS 2021 session “Real Effects of ESG and Environmental Regulations”.

The Keynote Speech of the event “Wicked Knowledge Co-Creation – An Imperative for Climate Finance Solutions” was delivered by Prof Andrew Karolyi, holder of the Harold Bierman Jr. Distinguished Professorship in Management and Dean at Cornell University.

IWFSAS provides a forum for academic researchers, practitioners and policy makers to discuss current issues related to the structure and design of financial systems and their impact on macro-financial stability and sustainable economic growth.

IWFSAS 20212 was hosted by the Gustavson School of Business at the University of Victoria in collaboration with the Centre for Banking Research at Bayes Business School (Former CASS), and the Euro-Mediterranean Economists Association (EMEA).
