Dr Sandra Challita, EMNES Coordinator and EMEA Research Fellow participated at the 5th edition of the Essex Finance Centre Conference in Banking and Corporate Finance – EFiC 2021, which was organized by the Essex Finance Centre at Essex Business School on 8 & 9 July 2021.
The conference brought together leading academics, practitioners and policymakers and gave them the opportunity to present state-of the-art research in the broad areas of banking and corporate finance. Keynote speaker of the event was Prof. Steven Ongena, Professor of Banking in the Department of Banking and Finance at the University of Zurich.
Sandra presented the paper “Banks’ Diversity: Indices and Determinants”, co-authored with Prof. Rym Ayadi and Dr. Sami Ben Jabeur. Discussant was Andrea Paltrinieri (Catholic University of the Sacred Heart). The session was chaired by Angela Maddaloni, European Central Bank.
Dr Sandra Challita, is a faculty member at ESDES Business School in Lyon. She is also an associate researcher at the International Research Centre on Cooperative Finance (IRCCF) of HEC Montréal.
