Dr. Yeganeh Forouheshfar, Senior Researcher for EMEA, presented at the Montenegrin International Conference on Economics & Business (MICEB 2024) which was held on September 12-13, 2024, at the University of Montenegro, Faculty of Economics in Podgorica, Montenegro.
The Montenegrin International Conference on Economics & Business was organized under the framework of EU Horizon CROSS-disciplinary network for research excellence in Regenerative Economy Innovation eco-Systems (CROSS-REIS) project. The topic of the conference was “Green entrepreneurship and innovation”.
Dr. Forouheshfar’s presentation was titled “Impact Financing Schemes to Promote Regenerative Agroforestry Business in Europe: The Contribution of the Reforest Project.” In her paper, she introduced an innovative financing scheme specifically designed for agroforestry practices, highlighting a concrete example of regenerative economy. Her research demonstrates how this model, developed through the Reforest project, can effectively support sustainable agroforestry businesses in Europe and offers valuable insights into its potential replication in the Balkan countries.
The aim of the conference was to bring together distinguished scientists, researchers, international business representatives, and economic policy creators, as well as to endorse optimal practices that foster economic growth and sustainable development, through entrepreneurship and innovation.
