Grants and subgrants are a prevalent method of financing enterprises and initiatives in the European Union and beyond its borders. Under its research agenda, the Euro-Mediterranean Economists Association (EMEA) is investigating the impact of such grants and subgrants to assess the effectiveness of grant attribution in South Mediterranean countries.
The survey aims to identify key challenges, and outcomes of the subgrant process experienced by MSMEs, BSOs and other actors. The aspects in question include the overall purpose of the subgrant, the amount, reporting requirements, timeline, additional fees and reporting requirements.
