The Interreg MED Renewable Energy Community will hold its final event in Brussels on 23.11.22 to present the final results and policy recommendations based on the transferring and capitalisation actions implemented by the project. EMEA is one of the partners of the Interreg MED Renewable Energy Project.
Bringing together different stakeholders to share their perspectives, the event will focus on the challenges and opportunities for the energy transition in the Mediterranean and the role of local authorities and citizens in the transition. This final event acts as a bridge between presenting the closing of this project and the beginning of the follow-up projects within the framework of the new Interreg Euro-Med programme.
The event will take place in the Renewable Energy House in Brussels. Participants joining will be able to discuss with policymakers how to boost the energy transition in rural areas and islands around the Mediterranean. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet representatives of some of the ETU Flagship Cases coming from Spain, Italy and Croatia.
