We are very happy to announce that the Euro-Mediterranean Network for Economic Studies – EMNES is officially enlarged to Africa and is rebranded as the EU-Mediterranean and African Network for Economic Studies – EMANES.
The EU-Mediterranean and African Network for Economic Studies (EMANES) is a collaborative and innovative regional network of 34 economic and policy research institutions and think tanks from 18 countries in Europe, the Mediterranean and Africa, working towards a renewed vision for socio-economic development that brings prosperity, sustainability, inclusion and resilience.
The Director of EMANES and President of EMEA, Prof. Rym Ayadi highlighted: “I am honoured to announce that EMNES is officially enlarged to African partners and this next phase will include all countries in Africa to partner and participate to the EU-Mediterranean and African Network for Economic Studies (EMANES). The Africa-EU partnership and cooperation will be one of the pillars of EMANES research in 2022.”
EMANES, formerly EMNES, was founded in 2014 with the financial support of the European Union under Grant Contract no. ENPI/2014/354-488 (2014-2019). As of January 2020, EMANES is coordinated and funded by the Euro-Mediterranean Economists Association.
