The EMGN Spring Academy 2024, themed “Risk Management, Pricing, and Accounting Standards,” will be held in Tunis, Tunisia, on May 29-30, 2024. This academy aims to enrich participants’ knowledge and share operational challenges & best practices among CGS (Credit Guarantee Schemes) to enhance their operations. This academy program prioritises peer-to-peer learning, with EMGN members exchanging methodologies and practices, and will include roundtable discussions on common challenges such as relationships with banks, risk management strategies, and the aftermath of COVID.
Additionally, experts will be invited to discuss the implementation of IFRS9 for guarantee institutions, and special guests from the African Solidarity Fund will share their experiences with regional guarantee mechanisms in Africa. Moderated by a team of consultants with over 25 years of experience in the financial sector, the academy promises to be rich in interactions, foster collaboration, and bring valuable insights for participants to apply within their institutions to enhance their operations.
The Spring Academy of 2024 is organised by the Euro-Mediterranean Guarantee Network (EMGN), led by the Euro-Mediterranean Economists Association (EMEA) in collaboration with FINACTU.
