EMEA-supported Brain Capital Innovation Summit closes as a major success

The Euro-Mediterranean Economists Association – EMEA was one of the supporters of the Brain Capital Innovation Summit which was held over June 26th to 28th 2023. The Summit was designed to advance the potential of innovation in brain health and brain skills.

The summit was a boutique, by-invitation convening of key stakeholders at the confluence of brain research and edtech – innovators, researchers, clinicians, educators, CEOs, investors, healthcare providers, and industry. Individuals came together to explore both the promise as well as the obstacles of transformative paths forward in the acceleration and amplification of brain capital innovation in service of human flourishing, in a call to action to define and implement the strategies and innovations required to maximize brain health.

Sponsors included the Meadows Mental Health Policy Institute, the UCSF Dyslexia Center, The Ferry Foundations, Scioto Biosciences, Woebot Health and the Brain Capital Alliance.

EMEA Advisors, Theo Edmonds and Harris Eyre, were prominently featured in the program.

Dr Eyre noted ‘This transdisciplinary event was remarkable. We had a wide variety of mission-driven actors from school teachers to finance executives all engaging in deep discussions about how to optimize Brain Capital. We all left recognizing this is the start of a movement and even an entire new industry sector’.

An extensive report on the Summit will be published shortly.
