EMEA Researcher Sara Ronco participates at the official launch of the Heritage International Institute

EMEA Researcher, Sara Ronco, participated in the International Symposium on Cultural Heritage, which took place in Forlì on January 18-19, 2024. The symposium was promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy. During the symposium, the presentation ceremony of the Heritage International Institute also took place.

More than 200 delegates from all over the world gathered at Bertinoro Castle for the official launch of the Heritage International Institute, which has twelve departments composed of top experts in the field. It is aimed at the protection and promotion of all forms of cultural heritage, including archaeological sites, architectural heritage, landscape, music, dance, cinema, cuisine, design, and fashion, with a special focus on human rights and the protection of culture in war zones.

At the formal signing ceremony held in the Sala Affrescata of Bertinoro Castle, HII signed agreements with centers of excellence, universities, associations, and museums all over the world. One of the agreements was with EMEA, where the two parties committed to the negotiation of an agreement relative to the organization and promotion of joint training projects, masters, summer and winter schools, joint research initiatives, also in collaboration with third parties.
