EMEA Project Manager, Joanna Grodzka, participates in Green Living Areas Thematic Project Kickoff

On Thursday 7th March 2024, EMEA Project Manager, Joanna Grodzka, travelled to Valencia to participate in the kickoff meeting of the thematic project LOGREENER, part of the INTERREG Euro-MED Green Living Areas community. EMEA is a project partner responsible for the strategy and coordination of the Community for Living Areas which aims to build a strong network of thematic projects and stakeholders working to improve Mediterranean citizens’ lives by promoting green living areas’ development within the Green Living Areas Mission. The Mission aims to bring local communities to life with green development at their centre, reducing negative climate impacts on the region’s ecosystems, and enhancing climate resilience.

LOGREENER is one of 19 thematic projects under the Green Living Areas umbrella working on the energy transition supporting local authorities with their renewable energy plans. The kickoff took place in Valencia where Joanna, representing the Community for Living Areas and Green Living Areas Consortium, provided information about the internal organisation of the GLA mission and the upcoming steps of the collaborative working process engaging C4LA, D4LA and thematic projects. EMEA contributes to the project by developing a multidimensional integrated framework applicable to the Community for Living Areas objectives using a co-creation and systems thinking approach.
