EMEA participates in the kickoff meeting of the STAPLES project

On 02 May 2024 the Euro-Mediterranean Economists Association – EMEA participated in the kickoff meeting of the STAPLES – PRIMA Project which took place in Milan. STAPLES (STable food Access and Prices and Lower Exposure to Shocks) aims to transform resilience strategies through new evidence-based knowledge on external stressors and shocks deriving from cereal global value chains (GVCs) on the MENA region and on the feasible local solutions to address them.

Represented by Senior Project Manager Maria Ruiz de Cossío and Researcher Riccardo di Angeli, EMEA participated in engaging discussions and presented WP3. This work package is led by EMEA and focuses on developing innovative solutions and evidence-based recommendations for boosting domestic agricultural production in Egypt and Morocco.
