EMEA Project Coordinator Dr. Cynthia Echave participates at the ETU Initiative Networking Event and the 7th CrowdCamp

Dr. Cynthia Echave, Project Coordinator at the Euro-Mediterranean Economists Association (EMEA) participated in the Renewable Energy Community Networking Event “Designing the Mediterranean Green Transition”, organized and hosted by Environment Par in Turin, Italy on 22 June 2022.

The aim of the event was to encourage the search for new project opportunities addressed to the Interreg MED Renewable Energy Community of projects and entities engaged through the ETU Initiative. Dr. Echave participated at the Keynote Panel “What is needed for a local green transition?” and presented “The ETU Initiative: an ecosystemic vision to support greening the Mediterranean region”.

EMEA is a project partner of the Interreg MED Renewable Energy project. It coordinates the advocacy and policy mainstreaming actions, which aim to enhance knowledge transfer and synergies on climate change, energy transition, sustainability and green economy.

Dr Echave was also one of the speakers at the session “Best practices for incentivising ESG reporting” of the 7th CrowdCamp: “Value Creation Beyond Financial Returns”, which took place in Bilbao on 16 & 17 June 2022. The CrowdCamp focused on the opportunities offered by the introduction of the new European Crowdfunding Service Provider Regulation, and particularly on ethical and sustainable finance and regional cooperation.
