EMEA participates to Monaco Ocean Week 2024

EMEA President, Prof. Rym Ayadi, Professor at Bayes Business School, City University of London, Senior CEPS Advisor, and EMEA Advisors Dr. Nathalie Hilmi, Section Head of Environmental Economics at the Monaco Scientific Centre and Harris Eyre MD PhD Fellow Rice University’s Baker Institute for Public Policy, and Lead of the Brain Capital Alliance participated in the Monaco Ocean Week 2024.

The event, held from March 18 to March 22, 2024, took place in Monaco. Prince Albert II inaugurated the event on Monday, March 18, 2024, at the Monaco Blue Initiative held in the Musée Océanographique de Monaco.

EMEA President Prof. Rym Ayadi and EMEA advisors Harris Eyre and Nathalie Hilmi are with Prof. Wassim Shahin Acting Dean of the Adnan Kassar School of Business and President of the Middle East Economics Association.

Dr. Nathalie Hilmi headed the extensive ‘Blue Economy Roundtable: Shipping and the Triple Crisis’ conference on Tuesday 19 March 2024, at the Meridien Beach Plaza Hotel. Organised by the Prince Albert II Foundation, the Monaco Scientific Centre, the Philanthropy Cortés Solari, MERI Foundation, and Velux Fonden, the conference convened international experts in ocean public policy and science. The goal was to discuss and progress towards establishing common minimum standards in ocean conservation, particularly focusing on maritime traffic.
