EMEA researcher Dr. Yeganeh Forouheshfar participated at the webinar “Necessity-Driven Entrepreneurship in Creative Industries in Rural Areas: Pathways for Recovery and Building Resilience”, which was organized by the Lebanese Center for Policy Studies (LCPS) on 03 June 2022.
The webinar discussed to what extent the crises has challenged creative industries in rural areas in Lebanon and underlined the importance of the diversification of economic activities and the significance of the creative businesses in supporting economic resilience and growth in rural areas.
EMEA researcher Dr. Yeganeh Forouheshfar presented the landscape of the Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI) in Lebanon and the results of the mapping of CCI conducted under the project CREACT4MED. She elaborated the impact of the current crisis on Lebanese CCI and the main challenges and opportunities in the underlying sectors.
