EMEA actively participates at the Global Virtual Think Tank Town Hall: Solidarity and Solutions To Save Lives and Livelihoods, which is organised by the Think Tanks and Civil Societies Program (TTCSP). The initiative involves over 1500 executives and scholars from 200 institutes in 150 countries.
Five International Interdisciplinary Working Groups (“IIWGs”) were formed with the strategic objective to produce (5) short, action oriented, reports which will be conveyed to the T20 Secretariat for inclusion in briefing materials for the G20, and the outcomes were also discussed at the third, and final, Global Think Tank Town Hall on 30 June 2020.
EMEA participation is the following: IIWG1: The Public Health Crisis – Sara Ronco, EMEA researcher, IIWG2: National and International Economic Recovery Strategies and IIWG4: Fostering International Cooperation -Creating Rapid, Responsive, and Resilient Systems to Respond to Future Crisis: Prof. Rym Ayadi, EMEA President, and IIWG5: Fit for Uncertain Future – New Operating Models for Think Tanks Research, Communications and Funding – George Christopoulos, EMEA communication officer.
