The Euro-Mediterranean Economists Association – EMEA, represented by its Founder and President, Prof. Rym Ayadi, and the Heritage International Institute, represented by its Chief Executive Officer, Sergio Iovino, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The agreement with EMEA was signed with the presence of Gianluigi Mastrandrea Bonaviri Heads of Departments and Unit of the Institute.
The parties commit to the negotiation of an agreement relative to the organisation and promotion of joint training projects, masters, summer and winter schools, joint research initiatives, also in collaboration with third parties, and agree to share the following contexts for the negotiation:
1. Exchange of views and praxis on heritage among researchers;
2. Organization of joint awareness campaigns and courses on the preservation of heritage, in particular with regards to the Euro-Mediterranean area;
3. Organizations of events, conference, Masters, summer, autumns and winter school;
4. Joint publications, including book, articles, reports, on heritage;
5. Joint sponsorship of courses, study tours, conferences and seminars, also through social media;
6. Joint research projects including projects eligible for governmental and other grants;
7. Exchange of information that are of mutual interest;
8. Joint collaboration with UNESCO chairs, also by guaranteeing the delivering of lessons and modules;
9. Common use of spaces and materials for the implementation of courses and conferences;
10. Common effort to publicise the mission, vision and party activities worldwide, also inviting the parties to events and helping each other in exporting their products and services.
11.Conduct joint work on mapping cultural enterprises in the MENA area, also with a view to developing future collaborations with them.
