The Euro-Mediterranean Economists Association (EMEA), represented by its Founder and President, Prof. Rym Ayadi, and NeuroCentury, represented by its Co-Founder and Director, Paweł Świeboda, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance collaboration across the Euro-Mediterranean and African ecosystems.
The agreement aims to strengthen expert knowledge in the regions and to support transparent, inclusive social and economic development. Key areas of cooperation include the sharing of expertise, knowledge exchange, co-funding initiatives, and the dissemination of research and insights to foster a sustainable and transparent transition in the Mediterranean and Africa.
The Parties have agreed to cooperate where and when feasible and appropriate, with the objective of maximizing bilateral and multilateral Euro-Mediterranean and Euro-African cooperation from a global and sustainable perspective.
NeuroCentury has been born out of the realization that the centrality of the brain needs to be crafted in the broader public interest. It is an action and policy hub which aims to provide analyses, support and inspiration in all matters brain-related. NeuroCentury intends to work with patients, governments, international organizations, businesses and the research community to help support an ambitious brain agenda. NeuroCentury aims to be 100% collaborative, building on the efforts of the entire brain community and contributing to the collective effort. Its advisory activities are concentrated in five areas of brain and mental health, brain capital as well as neurotechnology and ethics.
