EMEA and Impulse4Women sign MoU to enhance collaboration on the Euro-Mediterranean and Africa ecosystems

The Euro-Mediterranean Economists Association – EMEA, represented by its Founder and President, Prof. Rym Ayadi, and  Impulse4Women, represented by its CEO, Taryn Andersen Merino, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the purpose to enhance collaboration on the Euro-Mediterranean and Africa ecosystems, enhance expert knowledge in the regions and support transparent inclusive social and economic development with a particular emphasis on expertise, sharing of knowledge, co-funding and dissemination to support a transformation towards a transparent sustainable transition in the Mediterranean and Africa.

In this sense, the Parties will cooperate where and when feasible and appropriate, aiming at maximizing bilateral and multilateral Euro-Mediterranean and Euro-African cooperation from a global and sustainable perspective.

Impulse4Women was established in July 2017 as a non-profit association dedicated to accelerate the growth and success of women entrepreneurs by connecting them to a comprehensive ecosystem of investment, resources and support, giving them the tools they need to secure essential funding for their business endeavors.

Its mission spans the entire spectrum of startup maturity, from inception to IPO or acquisition, and it works with a diverse range of investors including Business Angels, Family Offices, Venture Capitals, Private Equity firms, and Social Impact Funds.

The Euro-Mediterranean Economists Association – EMEA is a Barcelona-based regional think-tank that serves as a leading independent and innovative policy research institution; a forum for debate on the political and socio-economic reforms in Mediterranean and Africa; and promoter of actions and initiatives that fulfil objectives of sustainability, inclusiveness, regional integration and prosperity.
