EMEA and EUROCROWD sign MoU to enhance collaboration on crowdfunding and financial inclusive schemes

The Euro-Mediterranean Economists Association – EMEA, represented by its Founder and President, Prof. Rym Ayadi, and the European Crowdfunding Network – EUROCROWD, represented by its Executive Director, Oliver Gajda, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the purpose to enhance collaboration on crowdfunding and financial inclusive schemes, with a particular emphasis on expertise, sharing of knowledge, co-funding and dissemination to support a transformation towards a transparent sustainable transition in the Mediterranean and Africa.

The two organizations will cooperate where and when feasible and appropriate, aiming at maximizing bilateral and multilateral cooperation from a global and sustainable perspective.

EUROCROWD, registered as the European Crowdfunding Network AISBL (ECN) in 2013 in Belgium, is an independent, professional business network promoting adequate transparency, regulation and governance in digital finance while offering a combined voice in policy discussion and public opinion building.

The Euro-Mediterranean Economists Association – EMEA is a Barcelona-based regional think-tank that serves as a leading independent and innovative policy research institution; a forum for debate on the political and socio-economic reforms in Mediterranean and Africa; and promoter of actions and initiatives that fulfil objectives of sustainability, inclusiveness, regional integration and prosperity.
