In this Special Edition Newsletter, the CREACT4MED project is thrilled to present the 24 entrepreneurs receiving financial support under the subgranting programme. For each of the 6 countries, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, and Tunisia, 4 cultural and creative projects were selected after a rigourous written and pitch evaluation. Now, you can read their profiles, their expected impact, and what they have gained from the CREACT4MED project so far. According to the work plans, a total of 131 new job opportunities for young people and women (37 work contracts and 94 freelance contracts) are expected to be created through the implementation of their projects. Over half of the companies are led by women and young people. We would like to thank all entrepreneurs who applied to the call, and we look forward to seeing all business proposals thrive to contribute to a flourishing CCI ecosystem in the Southern Mediterranean.
