On behalf of the Euro-Mediterranean Economists Association (EMEA), I extend my warmest congratulations to the people of Ghana for successfully conducting their presidential elections, marking another milestone in the nation’s democratic journey.

The peaceful and transparent conduct of these elections reflects Ghana's unwavering commitment to democratic principles and governance.

As a beacon of stability and democracy in the African region, Ghana continues to inspire nations around the world by demonstrating the power of civic engagement, respect for the rule of law, and the will of the people.

At EMEA, we strongly believe that democracy, inclusive and sustainable economic development, and regional cooperation are interconnected pillars for building resilient and inclusive societies.

Ghana's elections serve as a reminder of the vital role of inclusive political processes in fostering sustainable development and regional stability.

We applaud the efforts of the Electoral Commission, political parties, civil society organizations, and the citizens of Ghana who contributed to the success of this significant event.

We also recognize the importance of the peaceful transfer of power as a cornerstone of democratic governance.
