EMEA President Prof. Rym Ayadi and EMEA Senior Researcher Dr. Yeganeh Forouheshfar participated in the online workshop “AI and Resilience” which took place on 28 November 2024. The participants of the workshop submitted their papers to « Frontiers Artificial Intelligence Journal » to curate a special edition on Artificial Intelligence. The workshop was moderated by Ekkehard Ernst, Chief of the Macroeconomic Policy Unit, International Labour Organization, President of Geneva Macro Labs and EMEA Advisor.
At the workshop, EMEA Senior Researcher Dr. Yeganeh Forouheshfar presented the paper “Enhancing system resilience to Climate Change through Artificial Intelligence: A systematic literature review”. The paper is being co-authored by Prof. Rym Ayadi (Professor, Bayes Business School, Founder & President of EMEA), Omid Moghadas (Paris-Dauphine University), and Yeganeh Forouheshfar (Senior Researcher, EMEA)
The paper provides a systematic literature review aims to identify, analyze, and synthesize existing research on AI applications designed to enhance system resilience in combating climate change and facilitating the green transition. The focus is on exploring specific design options and practical use cases that demonstrate the effectiveness of AI in this domain.
