EMEA and the Culture Funding Watch (CFW) sign MoU to enhance collaboration on the Euro-Mediterranean and Africa ecosystems

The Euro-Mediterranean Economists Association – EMEA, represented by its Founder and President, Prof. Rym Ayadi, and the Culture Funding Watch (CFW), represented by its Founder and CEO, Ouafa Belgacem, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the purpose of enhancing collaboration on the Euro-Mediterranean and Africa ecosystems, enhance expert knowledge in the regions and support transparent, inclusive social and economic development with a particular emphasis on expertise, sharing of knowledge, co-funding and dissemination to support a transformation towards a transparent, sustainable transition in the Mediterranean and Africa.

In this sense, the Parties will cooperate where and when feasible and appropriate, aiming at maximising bilateral and multilateral Euro-Mediterranean and Euro-African cooperation from a global and sustainable perspective.

The Euro-Mediterranean Economists Association – EMEA is a Barcelona-based regional think-tank that serves as a leading independent and innovative policy research institution; a forum for debate on the political and socio-economic reforms in Mediterranean and Africa; and promoter of actions and initiatives that fulfil objectives of sustainability, inclusiveness, regional integration and prosperity.

Culture Funding Watch is the destination for artists and arts organisations to access information and intelligence about Art and culture resources mobilisation. It is a network of people and content that supports equal access to information, provides services to facilitate access to resources as well as advocates for transparent and responsible financing for the Arts and Culture. It collects, sorts and disseminates funding opportunities, offers customised resources mobilisation services, builds long term sustainability capacity of cultural actors and organisations and promotes establishment of evidence based advocacy towards sustainable, transparent and responsible art funding.
