Alfred Deakin Prof. Felice Jacka OAM, Co-Director of the Food & Mood Centre, visited the EMEA office last week following her participation in the EMEA Webinar: “Report launch: Good food is vital for brain health so we must change the food industry”.
Together with Prof. Ayadi and the EMEA team, Prof. Jacka discussed the essential link between diet and mental health, and indeed the impact on the brain and brain capital. Given the work EMEA is carrying out on Brain Capital including the Brain Capital Dashboard, potential points of collaboration and synergy between EMEA and the Food and Mood Centre were explored.
