New EMNES policy paper: Reshaping EU Policies Towards the EU-Africa Partnership in the ‘New Normal’ Era of the Post Covid-19 World

EMNES has published the new Policy Paper “Reshaping EU Policies Towards the EU-Africa Partnership in the ‘New Normal’ Era of the Post Covid-19 World” authored by H.E. Fathallah Sijilmassi and Hafsa EL Bekri. The paper presents the new parameters to take into consideration in order to reshape the relations between the EU and its Mediterranean and African neighbours. It highlights the importance of an increased South-South cooperation and it illustrates this through the example of Morocco’s strong involvement in the Continent.

Fathallah Sijilmassi is an economist and a former Moroccan diplomat. He was Ambassador to the EU (2003-2004) and to France (2005-2009). He then led the Moroccan Agency for International Investments (2009-2012). He was Secretary General of the Union for the Mediterranean from 2012 to 2018. He is currently the CEO and founder of Positive Agenda Advisory and acts as member of the advisory board and committee of both EMEA and EMNES.
